Remember why you started in the first place, remember the purpose behind it all, end well. Don’t stop in the middle of it, you wont see the results unless you finish the task.

In 2020, I found myself praying intentionally and intensely for the Black community. As I prayed, I believe God revealed that He wants to restore the Black community and gave me the Book of Nehemiah as a biblical picture of His restoration plan.
Taxing the rich to help the poor is a simple solution to a complex, layered problem that money alone cannot fix. If money could fix it, and if the goal were to make those in need or the Black community financially secure, why is it that those who push socialism as the answer dodge the topic of reparations like Neo in the Matrix? Money can fix it, right? Well, cut the check! Because the goal is not to help those in need eventually become economically independent. Wealth will never be redistributed enough to bring every low-income family or individual to the point of self-sustainability.
For most of my adult life, I couldn’t see how anyone could be proud to be an Amerikkkan. What is there to be proud of? Are you proud that this country owned slaves and of its racist history? Until recently, whenever I heard the word “patriot,” the term ‘racist’ came to mind. The picture of a gun tooting, confederate flag-waving, middle-aged white man who hates black people came to mind. Does this man exist? Perhaps, But the truth is that image does not reflect most American patriots. That image, I learned, is a media-created caricature of people who love this country and are fighting for it to remain the land of the free.
“ The next evolutionary stage of the Black church must involve recognizing that Black People in America through blood or marriage are among the descendants of Yahweh’s chosen people. This reality must encourage the African-American Community to seek solidarity with Israel’s other descendants of the diaspora.”

This type of racism is the most destructive because it destroys from the inside out. This type of racism is the most impactful because it uses our image, diction, and desire to embed toxic ideas and norms into our culture. It is far more destructive than any confederate flag waving white man we are made to fear. This infiltration, and redefining of blackness has helped to destroy black families while they build generational wealth and monetize our pain and demise.
